Crème fraiche made by acidifying cream from Swedish farms. Crème fraiche has a rich, creamy and smooth texture with a wonderfully creamy, sour and fresh taste. Can be used for both hot and cold cooking and is therefore suitable as a base in stews, soups, cold and hot sauces, stir-fries, pasta and potato salads or as a naturally creamy side dish. Can be boiled without cutting and can be whipped to a firm consistency. Also used as an ingredient and adds a healthy touch to baking and desserts.
