Ordering
When you have completed your order, an order confirmation will be sent to your email address. In the confirmation you will find all information about the products, prices, billing and delivery address. If there is something wrong with the order, you should immediately contact us via e-mail to info@swedishgrocerystore.se or call 079-340 39 39. You must be 18 years old or have a guardian's approval when ordering. Remember to choose shipping options according to the products you have ordered (for example, it may be possible for soft bread to arrive before the best before date with the shipping options UPS Standard and UPS Expedited).
Prices and payment
EU:
The prices in the store are stated in SEK (Swedish kronor) and all prices include 12% VAT for food items and 25% VAT for other items. (NOTE! Few products, for example books have 6% VAT).
Outside the EU:
Goods to countries outside the EU are VAT-free. The prices are therefore presented without VAT. However, the prices are the same as for the EU including VAT. This is to cover additional costs when exporting.
We reserve the right to price changes caused by price changes from the supplier, misprints in the price list and inaccuracies in prices due to incorrect information and reserve the right to adjust the price. In the shopping cart, you can see the total price including all fees, VAT, shipping and payment.
Delivery times
All items are sent by UPS and our normal delivery times are 1-5 working days depending on the available UPS service in the country you are ordering from. You can see available service for the country on the checkout page. Delivery time means the time after we send the goods from us. This is normally done the next weekday if the order is placed before 3 p.m. Orders placed on weekends are sent on the following Monday at the earliest. If delays in delivery should occur (without us notifying you of a longer delivery time), you contact us directly at the email address info@swedishgrocerystore.se. The risk for purchased goods passes to the buyer when the delivery is made.
Shipping and price
All items are shipped with UPS. The delivery time is 1-10 working days depending on the available service from UPS in the country you order to. If delays in delivery should occur (without us notifying you of a longer delivery time), you contact us directly at the e-mail address: info@swedishgrocerystore.se .
Shipping options:
UPS Standard: Delivery usually within 5 working days in Europe after we send the package. Cannot be selected when purchasing refrigerated goods!
UPS Express Saver: Most European countries: Delivery the next working day after we send the package. Rest of the world: Delivery up to 5 working days after we send the package depending on the country. Must be selected when purchasing refrigerated goods!
UPS Expedited: Delivered outside Europe, usually within 5-10 working days after we send the package depending on the country. Cannot be selected when purchasing refrigerated goods!
Transport damage is reported to UPS when you receive the goods. If you discover the damage later, contact UPS for a damage report.
The shipping price is based on the order's weight, size and destination and becomes visible after the delivery address has been filled in on the checkout page when choosing a shipping option.
Delivery of refrigerated goods
Refrigerated goods are always packed with refrigerated packaging specially designed for foodstuffs to maintain an approved temperature during transport. We use the patented cooling packs Sorba Freeze which keep the correct temperature for about 2 days. Sorba Freeze is used, among other things, by wholesalers in the fish, meat and dairy industry with high demands on cooling during transport. The cold packs are produced in accordance with the rules laid down by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). They are not dangerous for the environment and contain no toxic substances. The cooling packs can be used several times - after about 12 hours in the freezer, they are ready to be used again!
Shipments are dispatched from our warehouse in the afternoon and in most cases arrive within 2 days. We guarantee that refrigerated goods under normal circumstances maintain an acceptable temperature for approximately 2 days from the time they leave our warehouse.
Important! When ordering refrigerated goods, the customer is responsible for being found and receiving the package from UPS. Goods that have been destroyed due to the shipment not being able to be delivered on time are not replaced.
Note! When ordering refrigerated goods, you must choose express shipping. We usually send the packages Monday-Wednesday during the afternoon, this is because the goods risk being destroyed over the course of the weekend. It usually takes 1-2 days to reach the customer. We guarantee that refrigerated goods under normal circumstances maintain an acceptable temperature for approximately 2 days from the time they leave our warehouse.
If UPS cannot deliver by express within 2 days, we will notify the customer of this.
If the customer has not chosen express shipping, we will not ship the order.
Customs and VAT
All prices on the page are shown including VAT within the EU and excluding VAT for orders outside the EU.
Customs duties and VAT or other charges may apply if you order from a country outside the EU.
As the rules differ for different countries, it is the customer's responsibility to find out which import rules/customs regulations apply to your country regarding food, tobacco, etc. Should any customs duties, taxes or other charges be added, it is the customer's responsibility to pay these. Swedish Grocery Store cannot replace goods stuck in customs or bear the costs incurred in connection with this.
Payment method
Card payment Visa/Mastercard/Eurocard
When you shop at Swedish Grocery Store, the payment is processed by Mondido Payments, which is a secure electronic payment solution for Visa and MasterCard/Eurocard. All card information is stored in accordance with the card networks' regulations. SLS/TSL - Security and credit card details All credit card details are handled securely on a secure https page and transmitted using newer versions of TLS.
Pay via PayPal
We also offer payment via PayPal , and you don't need a PayPal account to pay. Use Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or funds in your PayPal account. We do not apply any extra fees when you pay via PayPal.
Invoice
We offer the possibility of purchase against invoice to Sweden, Norway and Finland in collaboration with Collector Bank AB.
Collector Purchase terms - Sweden
In collaboration with Collector Bank AB, we offer invoice and partial payment. When you choose invoice as the payment method, you receive your goods before you pay. You can then choose to pay the entire amount at once or divide the payment into smaller parts. The invoice is due within 30 days. An airline fee of 29 SEK is added.
You can only order to your registered address when you choose invoice or partial payment and you must be at least 18 years old at the time of ordering. When you receive the invoice, you can choose to pay in installments up to 36 months by paying the minimum amount stated on the invoice. In case of partial payment, an interest rate of 19.9% per year is added.
A minor credit check is done, as in some cases, which means a credit report. In the event of delayed or non-existent payment, a late fee and late payment interest will be charged.

In order to pay the purchase in installments, you are required to enter into a credit agreement with Collector bank before the invoice is due for payment. You can do this easily by signing and submitting the credit agreement, see Mine Sider (minside.collector.no) for a description of how this is done. When you have entered into a credit agreement, you can choose to pay in installments up to 36 months by paying the minimum amount specified on the invoice. Example of effective interest rate for partial payment with credit interest of 22% and notice fee of NOK 39 per month: effective interest rate 45.8% for a credit amount of NOK 5,000 that is paid off in 12 months. Total credit cost NOK 1063. Total repayment amount NOK 6063 (average/month over 12 months = NOK 505).
With a credit purchase, a credit report is taken on you. In the event of delayed or non-existent payment, a fee and late payment interest will be charged.

Right of withdrawal

You do not have the right of withdrawal if:

If the right of cancellation is exercised, the entire amount is refunded.
Complaint
Notify why you do not accept the product and indicate how you believe the product is faulty at info@swedishgrocerystore.se or telephone 079-340 39 39. Once you have notified us, we will send you a prepaid return shipping slip and instructions. Always report any complaints as soon as possible. According to the law, you have the right to complain about your product for 3 years, provided that the fault can be referred to the seller as original, within 6 months from the time of purchase. We accept the General Complaints Board (ARN).
Exchange conditions
When changing a product, e.g. when changing the size, etc., the following applies: You are responsible for the return shipping back to us. In the event of an exchange, we are responsible for sending you the new product. ATTENTION! Unclaimed packages
If you do not pick up your goods or are not available for UPS to deliver your goods as you ordered, you will be charged our cost of sending your package back and forth as well as storage costs. The cost of this is currently SEK 595. Unclaimed package does not count as cancellation of your purchase. According to Swedish law, you must always notify us of the use of the right of withdrawal, complaint, exchange or return of your order.
Product information
We reserve the right for possible printing errors on this website and final sale of products. We do not guarantee that the images reflect the exact appearance of the products as a certain color difference may occur depending on the monitor, photo quality and resolution. However, we try our best to expose them as correctly as possible. We are happy to answer your questions regarding colors/sizes if you feel unsure.

When you place your order with us, you provide your personal data. In connection with your registration and order, you agree that we store and use your data in our business to fulfill the agreement with you.
